Ian Wells

After a successful career at Rolls-Royce and with a desire to create something new, Aero Engine Services was born.

As a motivated, results-oriented entrepreneur, my focus in on helping our Customers maximise the return from their investment in aircraft engines.
From our base in Hong Kong, we provide fleet planning recommendations for our Clients and provide engine shop visit management services throughout Asia. We also provide a full range of aircraft engine redelivery services.
David Vowles
Senior Consultant
Over the course of David’s 30-year career in Aviation, he has held a variety of positions with leading aviation companies including British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, General Electric Company & GE Capital.

As Head of the Powerplant group at Cathay Pacific Airways, David managed a multi-cultural team of engineers that ensured operational safety and commercial excellence delivering on-time performance to the airline operation.
In his role as SVP of Powerplant at GECAS, David led an organization that enhanced operations, cut costs wisely, and strengthened team capabilities. Provided technical and business leadership that contributed to the expansion of commercial activities to new clients.
In recent years, David has focused his role as an Aviation specialist and has worked with Aero Engine Services as a Senior Consultant.

After an extensive career in Customer Services at Cathay Pacific, Gloria Cheng joined Aero Engine Services.
